Advice On How To Take Your Game To The Next Level

Whether you’re new to golf or play regularly, there are always reasons to improve game. Building your skills can help you during a friendly competition, or can make playing a game of golf more relaxing and fun. This article offers a selection of tips that are sure to come in handy on the golf course.

Before you take any shot from the tee, fairway, or rough, double-check to see the whereabouts of the group in front of you. Don’t assume that if they aren’t in the fairway or on the green that they are out of reach. They may be in the trees or behind a hill, and if you don’t wait you could hit them with your shot.

If there is any chance that your shot could come close or hit another player, always yell ‘fore.’ By shouting this common warning, those around you can protect themselves from possible injury while also letting them know that you are concerned for them. If you do not yell and a ball comes near another player you may be on the receiving end of a lecture or worse.

Always play the hole you are on and not the course itself. Put extra effort into the holes you know are easy and then relax more on the ones you believe are more difficult. Keeping relaxed is a big mental aspect of the game and keeping each hole on an even level in your mind will tighten your focus and loosen the anxiety that ruins shots.

With many courses today offering the technology of GPS on their golf carts, make sure you take advantage of what this handy measurement device can do. Whether giving you the distance from tee to hazard of from the center of the fairway to the green, use GPS to hone in your distance.

The next time you are stuck in the trees, take a moment to survey all options. While it is always exciting to find the most direct route to the green through the trees, this path is not always the safest. Prevent extra shots and increased frustration by seeking out the best way to get back into the fairway. It may cost you one extra stroke, but this is better than hacking away at three extra shots in the trees trying to go the hard way.

If you are concerned that your ball may be lost or out of play, do not walk over to the area where you hope to find it without an extra ball in your pocket. If you end up not finding your ball and you don’t have a replacement then you have to walk all the way back to your cart, slowing down the round for your partners and those behind you.

Travel

A helpful tip when it comes to golf is to consider changing your practice environment. This can be helpful because sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery for you to either notice a way to improve your game or get yourself out of a rut. Even if you have to travel farther, it may just be worth it.

In order to improve your golf skill, make sure you are standing in a proper position. The position that you are in usually dictates how far the golf ball will travel. If you are slouching over too far or not enough, the ball is not going to go very far.

Even though, everyone in your golf group might really love to go to Scotland to play golf, remember that the courses there are extremely challenging, and you can’t use a cart. If you are planning a classic Scottish golf travel excursion, be sure that everyone on your traveler’s list is in good shape and plays a good game. Otherwise, you will have some disappointed people in your group.

When you are trying to improve your golf swing, keep your hands low. The lower your hands are, the lower the ball will fly. This makes each shot travel a farther distance rather than popping way up. So when you follow through, keep your hands low.

Make sure to line up your feet properly. This is one of the best things you can do to improve your golf swing. You want to line up your feet perpendicular to the direction you want the ball to travel. An easy way to check this is to put your club against your toes: the end of the club is pointing in the direction the ball will travel.

Make sure that as you hit the golf ball, the face of the club is square to the ball. This helps the ball travel in a straight line. If your club is not squared up with the golf ball, the ball will launch off in a different direction than you originally intended. Experiment with how you hold the club until you have mastered hitting the ball at a 90 degree angle.

A tip on striking the ball when it is below your feet is to aim left. The ball will move from left to right when the ball is below your feet so the aim must be adjusted accordingly. If you pick a target to the left of your anticipated landing area, you should hit dead on. Also understand that this type of shot will not travel as far as a shot from level ground.

In golf, when you are in the proper position and you are about to swing, be sure to swing your hips quickly so that you can move your weight from the back foot to the forward foot. This will increase the power of your swing and the distance the ball will travel.

Vacation

A helpful tip when it comes to golf is to make sure that you properly protect your skin while on the course. This is important because often times you will be out there for multiple hours without any shade. Getting a sun burn can do anything from cause minor discomfort, to ruining a vacation, to even more serious issues such as skin cancer.

If you are taking a golfing vacation, you will want to carry your clubs securely. For air travel, choose a hard-sided bag that will protect your clubs from potentially rough handling. If you are taking a driving trip, a soft-sided bag will be easier for you to handle and will take up less space.

If you are planning a golf vacation for a group of people, be sure to choose a golfing destination that offers a variety of courses. By doing this, everyone in your group will be able to match up with a course that suits his or her abilities. That will make for a happy golf vacation experience.

Before you decide to save money by booking your golf vacation during the “off” season, find out why it is the off season! If the thermometer is stuck at 120 degrees for the entire time you are vacationing, you may not get much golf in. Likewise, if your golf destination is hit by a hurricane!

As this article demonstrates, there are a number of things you can do to become better at golf. Odds are you’ll never play professionally, but that doesn’t mean you can’t give everyone down at the golf course a run for their money. Keep this advice in mind, and you’re sure to have your best game yet.

Alright guys, we’re going to go ahead and get started. If there’s anybody else out there that has not signed in, if you want to help them by sending them an e-mail or typing into the chat pod, thank you Diane. Diane Turner is one of our, I think she’s the second or third investor partner with us, founding member and from Canada and we’re so grateful to have you, Diane. Mark, Brendan, Bob, Bob, Bryan, Carl, (?), Carter, and Barbie, Jay Napier, Jeff Kidd, Lee Personetee, Mark Kennedy, Mike, Paul, Ron, Teri. Guys if I didn’t get your name, welcome! We’ve got several countries represented here. We’ve got several people across the United States and we are just so excited to have you guys here. This is – we’re not open to the general public as you guys know if you’ve heard about this it’s because you’ve found out about it through the grapevine, through some inner core people – but we have been in operation for about seventeen months. We’ve had our full operating facilities here in Duluth, Georgia since January and we’ve been running a full business (unclear word). You guys know that because you’ve been with us the whole time and we are super, super excited about bringing this thing to the marketplace.

I’m going to brief through a couple things. I know I have Mr. Ryan (Bifulka?), I believe he’s with us. I want to make sure he’s here. He’s actually, was in, I think Fort Lauderdale, Florida, working with some partners down there and I wanted to see if he’s here and wanted to say hello. I know Katherine’s there and if she can come on and say hello, she’s down at the corporate office. She’s at the home office with the kids and (?)’s here. Also Dean Moreno’s going to be here with me, helping me with this and I want to welcome each and every one of you. We have one of our main programmer’s with us, Brian Kennedy. I believe we have (?) with us as well and I want to thank you guys for all your hard work. John (Chugart?) one of our CT…

*Okay, I don’t know if you guys, have you all been hearing me? Maybe I muted the phone’s here. Thank you. I’m going to make sure. Star. You guys have been hearing me okay? Type in if you’ve been hearing me okay. Somebody typed in unmuted. Okay, you’ve been hearing me fine for a while. Perfect.*

Okay, Ryan Bifulka, are you there my friend? Okay, Ryan’s actually on location; actually trying to get us some more deals right now.

*There’s an echo coming from somebody. I don’t know where that’s coming from, if you can mute your phone out or unmute yourself that would be great because I’m getting an echo on my line and somebody just pressed unmated, so conference call unmated. Let me mute the phones back again. So we’ll get that fixed, just a second here. Okay, I’ve got everybody muted*

And we’ve got actual, we’ve got Mr. Dustin, is actually in my office as well. Dustin Welburn, he’s with us. We’re at World Discovery Club and Dustin is, we have an actual, we have a webinar room, we have a, an actual, the conference room has an actual cool little feature on it where you can ask questions. You can see how many peoples in the room. You can actually raise your hand and ask questions in there, so super, super excited about having each and every one of you. Mr. Jay Napier, very, very excited about having you and every single one of you guys. We have over, I think its 110 founding members from around the world and we are super excited about offering, telling you more about this so Ryan, if you could come in here. I know you were planning on meeting with us. I know you had an important meeting, trying to meet with us. Come on in here. And I would like Katherine, if you are there and can unmute your phone or I can unmute the line and allow you to come on if you’re actually in there and you can say hello. Can you speak Katherine? I don’t know if you’re allowed to do that. I can unmute the phone. I wanted to see if you’re able to do that. If not, what I’m going to do is I am going to mute everybody, unmute the phone, and then I want everybody to press 4* on their phone to mute your own line and then that way we can have some people speaking as well.

Dean, are you there? Can you come out and speak? I know I asked you to dial in on the host code. Did you, were you able to do that? Okay, Katherine, did you dial in on the host code? I don’t think she did either, so let me go, let me go to plan B. Okay, everybody’s unmuted, so if everybody can press “4*” on your phone. “4*” on your phone. There you go. Perfect. I heard a bunch of them popping out. “4*” on your phone line, that’s going to mute you out. Absolutely wonderful. If you’re coming in, if you could press “4*” on your phone to mute your own personal line, “4*” on your phone to mute your personal line. And Katherine if you are there with us and can say hello, I would love you to come out and say hello to everybody and everybody press “4*” on your phone unless you’re Katherine Willis. So press “4*” on your phone to mute yourself out right now. Thank you very much and clear line. You guys are amazing. Awesome.

World Discovery Club

Katherine if you’re there, if you can come out and say hello. Is she even there? Hey Katherine! Okay, come out and tell everybody what this has meant to you. Tell us a little bit about what you’ve been working on, a little bit about, like to hear your passion. We do have kids in the background guys, so she’s actually at the home office and tell them what it means to you to have this thing launched on your birthday and what’s going on. …Katherine are you still there? Okay I don’t know if we lost her or you guys can still hear me. Katherine if you are there, I’m calling on you, if you could come on out. Okay, great. Okay, she got disconnected. No problem. Okay, so what we’re going to do is we’re going to go to plan Z here. We’ve got, want to welcome each and every one of you, John (Chugart?) if you are there, if you could come on out and press “4*” and unmute your line and come on out, that would be great. John (Chugart?). Okay, yes. Perfect. Okay, tell us a little bit about your excitement of World Discovery Club, what you’ve been working on, what you’re responsible for. John (Chugart?) is our CTO and a co-founder. Myself and Katherine are also, let me go to that page here and show you a little bit about us. Tell us a little bit about your passion, what you’ve been working on, and what you’re excited about and just take a brief moment to speak to everybody’d be great.

**Cannot make out what the other speaker is saying followed by technical difficulties?**

John, if you can dial back in and the host code is 3265, so just dial in as a host code and keep your phone on mute, it was a little bit of an echo there and we’ve got Ryan on location. He was able to track down one of our partners, Dustin, and he wants to speak to you and say hello. He’s actually on a speaker phone on a cell phone, so Ryan if you’re there, go ahead and let me mute the phone out. Okay everything is muted.

Ryan: “Can you hear me?”

Main Speaker: “We can hear you fine. Go ahead my friend.”

Ryan: “Okay, sorry about that. I tried calling in on the host code and it wasn’t letting me unmute somehow, so hopefully everybody can hear me. But I just wanted to dial in and say hello. As I’ve said, I’m on the road, I’m actually down in Fort Lauderdale meeting with a lot of the airlines and the hotels and the (unclear words) guys. They’re all at this big conference that I’m at, so I’m actually, even as we speak, (unclear words) still trying to help us get some new deals and continuing to grow the product, so you know, Matt and I and the team have spent the last year and a half, (so that everybody knows?), solidifying these partnerships and these special deals that we’ve been able to get with a lot of the great, you know, larger names in the industry and we’re very excited about the product. And as you guys have seen, it’s second-to-none and it completely blows away all of the other vacation clubs that are out there. As many have seen, it also blows away Expedia quite a bit on some of the special hotels that we have and we’re going to continue to build on that and continue to grow the product, so we’re very excited with what we already have to start out, but we’re just kind of scratching the surface. We’re going to continue to add more partners and more special deals and more different categories – constantly adding more to the product.”

Main Speaker: “That’s phenomenal.
